Our Team
The Children’s Ballet of San Antonio (CBSA), directed by Vanessa Bessler, seeks to inspire the pursuit of excellence and prepare children for productive and creative lives through dance by offering extensive training and performance opportunities for talented children from all backgrounds. CBSA will target a children’s audience to inspire, motivate and nurture the love and appreciation for ballet and the performing arts that children and their families will carry with them as future patrons of the arts.
ANNDRIA FLORES, Theatre Director
Anndria has more than a decade of directing experience, instructing youth and adults at the collegiate level. She has served as the Director of the STARZ musical theatre program at the Barshop Jewish Community Center of San Antonio for the past 10 years. She earned her B.A. in English & Communication Arts and an M.A. in Communication Studies from St. Mary’s University, where she not only graduated but also distinguished herself with a minor in Theatre, showcasing her passion for the arts through directing.
Additionally, she has a decade of experience working in the field of marketing and communications for various business sectors. Currently, she oversees Managed Services and Renewals content communications for CDW—a multibillion-dollar corporation that provides technology and professional services to organizations across the globe.
JENNIFER HOLLOWAY, Music Director, Mean Girls Jr The Musical
Jennifer Holloway, a San Antonio-based Professional Singer, Choir Director, and Private Voice Instructor, holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Southern Methodist University. With a background in professional singing and acting in Chicago and Dallas, she boasts experience in voice-over, on-camera work, and performances in regional theaters. As an instructor, Ms. Holloway has taught theater, directed school choirs, and maintained a private voice studio. She is a sought-after adjudicator, clinician, and serves as the Assistant Director of Music at Christ Episcopal Church. A versatile performer excelling in jazz and musical theater, Ms. Holloway is involved in various musical associations. Beyond her musical pursuits, she enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring with her family.
